Course Description:

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) state that all personnel working within the Health and Social Care profession, should have up to date and sound knowledge about the process of administering medication. This course is suitable for all workers within the Health and Social Care sector. It is mapped to The Skills for Care Common Inductions Standards and is in line with The National Occupational Standards for Skills in Health and Social Care.
This course offers a solid introduction to Medications, and is aimed primarily for care staff who could be called upon to administer or assist with the administration of medications. The half day awareness course is not formally assessed and newly attending delegates will therefore normally require continued supervision in the workplace until competent.

The course can be delivered in house or at one of our training facilities across the UK.
